The Met Gala has officially arrived! The annual fashion event was postponed indefinitely  in 2020, due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, but the gala is back this year with four brand-new co-hosts: Billie Eilish, Timothée Chalamet, Amanda Gorman and Naomi Osaka are set to lead on Monday (Sept. 13), where the theme for the evening is “In America: A Lexicon of Fashion.”

Eilish makes history as the youngest person ever in the Met Gala’s history to be a chair for the event at 19. The honor comes after a successful year for Eilish, whose sophomore album, Happier Than Ever, hit No. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart. Happier Than Ever also had several of its songs enter the Billboard Hot 100. Eilish additionally collected two Grammys earlier this year for record of the year (“Everything I Wanted”) and best song written for visual media (“No Time to Die”).

Gorman, who stunned everyone with her poem “The Hill We Climb” at President Joe Biden’s inauguration, will make her debut at the event alongside tennis star Osaka and actor Chalamet. “Each of the Met’s four co-hosts embodies the defining factor of American style: individualism,” Vogue wrote in their co-host announcement. “They may approach the concept differently, but their shared passion for expressing themselves through clothing connects with the exhibition’s theme.”
