Netflix has unveiled a teaser & premiere date for the fourth & final part of the Chilling Adventures of Sabrina & it’s arriving just in time to close out 2020.

The fourth part of the Chilling Adventures of Sabrina will hit Netflix on December 31, 2020. The series reimagines the origin and adventures of Sabrina the Teenage Witch as a dark coming-of-age story that dabbles in horror, the occult, and witchcraft. The show had a very popular run & it was a bit surprising when Netflix announced they were ending the series with this final fourth part of the show & it’s a decision that made many fans upset. Given Netflix’s track record with the run of some of their shows, it wasn’t too surprising to me but I really thought the fanbase was rabid enough to keep it going.

Sabrina, which exists in the same universe as Riverdale, was originally created for broadcast. Riverdale was first developed for Fox and moved to The CW, while Sabrina was designed as a spinoff for The CW before it moved to Netflix with a two-season, 20-episode order. The series moved to Netflix after Riverdale became a monster hit for The CW thanks in part to new audiences finding the show’s first season on Netflix and returning to the broadcast network for its second. Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa still has a lucrative overall deal with producers Warner Bros. TV and the fifth season of Riverdale, his first series, is coming back to The CW in 2021.

Chilling Adventures of Sabrina is produced by Berlanti Productions in association with Warner Bros. Television and the cast includes Kiernan Shipka, Miranda Otto, Ross Lynch, Lucy Davis, Chance Perdomo, Michelle Gomez, Jaz Sinclair, Lachlan Watson, Gavin Leatherwood, Tati Gabrielle, Adeline Rudolph, Abigail Cowen, and Richard Coyle. Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa, who serves as chief creative officer of Archie Comics, is the showrunner of the series.

Will you raise some hell with Sabrina Spellman one last time? The fourth and final part of the Chilling Adventures of Sabrina cast its spell on Netflix on December 31, 2020.
