Netflix has pulled the curtain back on a new trailer for THE WOMAN in the Window.
Based on the gripping, best-selling novel and adapted by Tracy Letts, The Woman in the Window stars Amy Adams (Arrival) as Dr. Anna Fox, an agoraphobic child psychologist who finds herself keeping tabs on the picture-perfect family across the street through the windows of her New York City brownstone. However, when she inadvertently witnesses a brutal murder, her life gets turned upside down. Shocking secrets will be revealed, and nothing and no one is what they seem in this suspenseful psychological thriller.
Directed by Joe Wright (Pride & Prejudice, Darkest Hour) and produced by Scott Rudin (Lady Bird, No Country for Old Men), Eli Bush (Lady Bird, Annihilation), and Antony Katagas, the film also stars Julianne Moore (Kingsman: The Golden Circle) and Gary Oldman (Mank). Other cast members include Anthony Mackie (The Falcon and the Winter Soldier) Wyatt Russell (The Falcon and the Winter Soldier(, Brian Tyree Henry (Godzilla vs. Kong), and Jennifer Jason Lee (Single White Female).
Originally the film was set to hit theaters in October 2019 but was delayed after it tested poorly with early audiences. Naturally, this caused the film to be delayed, which was then made worse by the pandemic. Eventually, the movie was scooped up by Netflix where it will now have its debut on May 14.
