Earlier this year, Demi Lovato and the Peacock streaming service announced that they were teaming up for a four-part series called Unidentified with Demi Lovato, in which the singer/actor would be investigating stories of UFO sightings. Peacock has since announced that Unidentified with Demi Lovato will begin streaming on September 30th. All four episodes will be available to watch on that day.
On Unidentified with Demi Lovato, Lovato is joined by their sister Dallas and skeptical best friend Matthew on a
search for the truth about the UFO phenomena. While consulting with leading experts, Demi, Dallas and Matthew will investigate recent eyewitness encounters, uncover secret government reports, and conduct tests at known UFO hot spots. This series is an immersive docu-follow exploration of Demi’s quest, along with Dallas and Matthew, told through Demi’s unique and entertaining point of view.
Last year, Demi Lovato revealed on their Instagram page that they had spent a few days in Joshua Tree with Dr. Steven Greer, said to be one of the “world’s foremost authorities on the subject of UFOs, ET intelligence, and initiating peaceful contact with ET civilization”, and during those days witnessed “the most incredibly profound sightings both in the sky as well as feet away from me”. They said,
If we were to get 1% of the population to meditate and make contact, we would force our governments to acknowledge the truth about extraterrestrial life among us and change our destructive habits destroying our planet.”
Demi Lovato executive produced the Unidentified with Demi Lovato series with SB Projects’ Scooter Braun, Scott Manson, and Allison Kaye, GoodStory Entertainment’s JD Roth, Adam Greener, and Sara Hansemann, and showrunner Andrew Nock.
Halloween season seems like the right time for this show to premiere, and this is likely to be a good time for Peacock in general, since a lot of genre fans are probably going to be subscribing to the streaming service within the next month to watch Halloween Kills on there.
