The man, the myth, Samuel L. Jackson, surely isn’t tired of these motherf*cking superhero shows on motherf*cking Disney+!
Word has come down the wire that Marvel has a new series in development for Disney+ which has Samuel L. Jackson attached to reprise his role as Nick Fury.
The project is currently in its early stages of development and details are being kept under lock and key. According to Variety, MR. ROBOT alum Kyle Bradstreet will write and executive produce, with Marvel Studios also producing.
Jackson has portrayed Fury, the cycloptic head of the government agency S.H.I.E.L.D, in the Marvel Cinematic Universe ever since the post-credits scene for Jon Favreau‘s Iron Man film in 2008. When last we saw him during a post-credits scene for SPIDER-MAN: FAR FROM HOME, the character was onboard a Skrull ship somewhere amidst the cosmos. How Fury will join Marvel’s Disney+ lineup remains to be seen, though you can bet your prized comic book collection that fans will be excited to hear that he’s destined to be a part of the mix.
